AI Is NOT Your Savior

Especially as a Content Creator

This is nothing else but a simple rant.

I’m tired of content creators taking the cheap way out of repurposing their content because they don’t want to pay a human being to do it for them.

While I believe AI is a wonderful tool and aid, it is not a replacement for the nuanced work and writing of a human being. It is not authentic and will never be able to capture the thing you’re really trying to convey with its output. It can’t. It’s still a machine.

It’s infuriating and disheartening to witness the increasing reliance on AI in the creative industry. Podcasters, YouTubers, and businesses are opting for AI to write blog posts, show notes, scripts, and more, neglecting the value of human creativity and potentially leading to a devaluation of our craft and loss of jobs.

As a writer, that is infuriating.

As a fellow creator, it’s maddening.

As I said, it’s a great tool and aid but can never truly replace the work of a good writer.

And let’s be clear, I’m not worried about AI replacing me. I just wish writers were valued more.

What do you think? Am I overreacting? Do I need to just chill out and ride the AI wave? How do you use AI as a creative?
